Crew of “A Dog’s Purpose” Movie Could Face Jail Time for Alleged Dog Mistreatment

The video below shows what many believe to be the mistreatment of a German Shepherd during filming of the move “A Dog’s Purpose.” It is not easy to watch as a human forces the dog into the water against its will.

Now it turns out that, according to TMZ, Canada’s Chief Veterinary Office is looking into the matter. And if the agency finds that crew was engaged in wrongdoing, it could face up to 6 months in jail and a hefty fine. The producers say the dog is healthy and fine. Meanwhile, PETA has asked for a boycott of the film.
